Breast augmentation also known as mammoplasty, is a surgical procedure aiming to restore breast volume loss after pregnancy or irregular weight change, correct natural breast asymmetry (uneven breasts) make the breasts fuller and higher volume both on the top and bottom, enhance the appearance with an improved cleavage to see yourself in your favourite dress and swimsuits and boost yourself in confidence.

It may either be performed by fat injections from the other parts of your body to breasts to increase the volume or by placement of silicone gel or saline implants which is giving relatively longer lasting results than fat transfer. Implants can either be performed by above or below the muscle and varying side effects may arise which is controllable and supervised by our surgeon.

We use MENTOR® or POLYTECH brand silicone gel implants and that is a good thing for those looking for life time guarantee as the quality of MENTOR® or POLYTECH implants had its place with its greatest brand recognition and credibility.

In some case breast augmentation can be performed along with uplift to correct sagginess to better position your breasts as breast augmentation may sometimes not be enough itself for sagginess or it may not eliminate excess skin. Therefor we believe physical consultations bring most of the details into the light.

Recovery

Most of the time there is no pain. However, as a natural response of body to trauma of the surgery, your breasts may get swollen moderately for max 3 days and it may amplify the chest pressure. Swelling and all associated discomfort reaches its peak in the first 3 days and then gradually begins to subside.

At first implants may sit high and firm on chest but it will eventually settle into its intended position after breast tissue, your skin and muscle relax. It usually takes min 4 months up to 6 months depending on chosen implant size or how firm your breast tissue is.

Wearing sports bra is recommended for one month and idea behind that is to protect dressings and let your breasts find its ultimate shape and restrain oedema.

Excessive physical activity, sauna, solarium is not recommended at all. Breastfeeding is also a common concern for patients but it is scientifically proved that implants inserted under the fold of the breast or under the arm are least likely to damage nerves and milk ducts, however implants inserted at the edge of areola may affect the supply and release of milk. So sharing your concerns beforehand while getting your free treatment plan is recommended for the ease of your mind and higher quality communication and exchange of information.
